Are you interested in helping your community?

You don’t have to run into burning buildings or respond to emergencies. There are many other ways you can help.

Maybe you’re a business owner with heavy equipment or you provide services that we occasionally need. Donating your time, labor, or equipment is a great way to help. It can be a tax deduction for your business too.

You can donate gift certificates for your business, raffle baskets, raffle prizes or money for our annual golf outing.

But most of all, just attending our dinners and events helps tremendously.

We need people in many different areas:

• Administrative: assisting with our fund drive mailing, advertising, creative people.
• Building Maintenance:  contractors, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, etc. are all skills that can be needed from time to time.
• Cleaning:  washing apparatus, vacuuming, etc.
• Community Outreach:  fire safety and prevention presentations. 
• Computers:  IT help
• Driver/Operators:  driving and pumping fire apparatus.
• Fire police:  performing traffic control on emergencies or for special events.
• Firefighting:  helping on calls inside or outside the building, bringing drinks to calls of long durations.
• Fundraising:  coming up with new ideas, food prep, serving food at fundraisers, baking desserts, cleaning up.
• Landscaping:  cutting grass, weeding, general cleanup.
• Photographer/Historian:  taking pictures, organizing historical memorabilia.
• Technical rescue:  working with ropes, working in confined spaces, etc.

If you think you’d like to help, stop by on a Monday evening from 7-9 pm to ask questions, meet some of our volunteers and pick up an application.

If you are physically unable to help, pledging your annual donation to our efforts is appreciated. Please tell your neighbors and friends about our events and help spread the word so we may continue to offer our community the best service possible.
