How can I join?
Stop by the firehouse on a Monday evening from 7-9pm to ask questions, meet the members and pick up an application.
Do I need to have training or experience?
No, all training is provided.
Can I join without fighting fires?
Yes, we have the need for many different tasks and jobs. Check out our volunteer page for more details.
How old do I have to be to join?
You must be at least 14 years old to volunteer.
What are the different types of members?
We have 2 different types of members: regular members and auxiliary members. Regular members respond to emergency incidents, participate in training and help with maintenance, cleaning, etc. Auxiliary members only help at fundraisers.
Are the fire company and ambulance squad the same company?
No, they are 2 separate organizations and you are not required to be a member of both if it doesn’t interest you.
How can I support the fire company?
To donate, click on the donate link to pay via PayPal or credit card or mail checks to PO Box 301 Gouldsboro PA 18424. There is also a drop box at the firehouse where donations can be dropped off anytime. You can also donate baked goods for fundraisers or donate your time helping at events.
How do I register for a flea market/craft sale?
Registrations start in April for our Memorial Day weekend event and in August for our Labor Day weekend event. You can call 570-842-2663 or email [email protected] for a registration form.
How do I register for the golf tournament?
