At the monthly meeting of the Lehigh Township Supervisors, Chief Miller of the fire company and Officer Price of the Lehigh Township Police were recognized for their efforts in the rescue of a teenage girl from a control tower shaft at the dam in Covington Township on July 10, 2016. They were awarded plaques and medals for their actions on the incident.
