| Thank You! |
Proceeds from all of our fundraisers benefit the Gouldsboro Volunteer Fire Company. In March of 2008, we put our new Engine into service to replace a 1976 Mack engine. You can see a picture on our apparatus page. It is with your continued support that we were able to do this so we can continue to serve you. We are 100% volunteer and there whenever you need us. We thank each of you for your support in everything we do.

| Tractor Trailer Rollover |
Wed. Feb 17th 2010
Station 55 was dispatched just after 8:00 this morning for a tractor trailer rollover on I380 North. Rescue 55 & Engine 55-3 responded along with Chief 55 to find a tractor trailer on its' side over the embankment. The truck was hauling garbage. Lackawanna County EMA was notified and responded to the scene. State Police were on scene for hours while heavy wreckers uprighted the truck and then cleaned up the garbage that had spilled. Rescue and Engine were returned to service after a little over an hour and fire police were called out around 11:30 to shutdown I380 for two hours while crews finished removal and cleanup.
